A physical place to begin in central Montgomery County

For people who prefer meeting face to face, having a clear destination matters. Every Thought Psychiatry is located at 1006 Windsor Lakes Blvd, Suite 150, Conroe, TX 77384. Sarah Allison, PMHNP-BC, a Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, provides a space to discuss symptoms, history, and goals without assuming you already know which diagnosis or treatment applies.

The Conroe location offers an option for central Montgomery County residents, including those around Grand Central Park and people coming from the Lake Conroe corridor. Access from I-45 may help with planning, although your route and current traffic will shape the trip. This is the practice's physical office, not simply a city listed for telehealth coverage. Texas telehealth is also available when clinically appropriate, so travel does not have to determine every appointment decision.

Care for the responsibilities that meet you at home

A full calendar can hide significant distress. Parents may notice that they have little patience left after handling work, household tasks, and a child's needs. Caregivers may feel caught between supporting an older relative and keeping their own lives functioning. Others experience low mood, panic, trouble focusing, or conflict that has become harder to resolve without support.

A psychiatric evaluation looks at those concerns in context. We ask what changed, what has helped before, and what daily functioning looks like across home, work, and relationships. People and families affected by substance use can discuss that history without treating it as an automatic barrier to care. If a higher level of treatment or outside support is needed, that becomes part of the conversation rather than something you are expected to figure out alone.

A first evaluation that connects the pieces

The initial appointment allows time to review medical and psychiatric history, current medications, supplements, sleep, nutrition, and your main concerns. Attention difficulties, for example, may reflect ADHD, anxiety, poor sleep, depression, or overlapping factors. Fatigue and low mood may raise questions about thyroid function or nutritional status. A careful history helps decide which questions deserve further investigation.

When appropriate, lab work may include thyroid markers, vitamin D, iron, or other targeted testing. Gut-brain concerns and MTHFR information are considered in clinical context rather than used as universal explanations. Not every person needs the same testing, and a result does not replace listening to your experience. The purpose is to build a useful picture of what may be contributing and decide which next steps are most reasonable.

A plan with more than one possible tool

More than meds means medication is an option, not the only option. Conservative prescribing can be combined with psychotherapy, practical routines, nutraceuticals when appropriate, and attention to relationships. CBT-informed work may help identify patterns of thinking and avoidance. Trauma-informed care emphasizes choice, pacing, and respect for what feels difficult to discuss. Optional faith-integrated conversations are available according to your values.

For teens ages 15 and older, care also considers development, caregiver involvement, and growing independence. For adults, the plan may center on burnout, mood, anxiety, focus, or rebuilding routines after a difficult season. No single approach is assumed to fit everyone. We review how treatment affects your functioning and comfort, including side effects, so the plan can change when something is not useful or no longer matches your priorities.

Planning your office visit or Texas telehealth appointment

Use the full Conroe address when mapping your trip, and look for Suite 150. Ask the practice to clarify parking and building entry before your first appointment rather than relying on assumptions about the property. If you are traveling from the Lake Conroe corridor, Grand Central Park, or another part of Montgomery County, allow flexibility for traffic and the route you choose.

Telehealth may be a useful alternative when a private appointment from home is easier to arrange. You must be physically in Texas, and you should have reliable connectivity and a setting where you can speak freely. In-person evaluation may be preferred or needed depending on the clinical situation or prescribing requirements. Ask about the format when scheduling, and never join an appointment while driving or in a situation where the conversation would compromise your safety.

Know the costs before deciding to begin

Every Thought Psychiatry is a cash-pay direct-care practice. The initial evaluation costs $315 for 75 minutes. Follow-up visits are $150 for 25 minutes or $250 for a 50-minute integrated follow-up. Superbills are available for possible out-of-network reimbursement, but your insurer determines eligibility and payment. It is reasonable to ask your plan about benefits before assuming that reimbursement will be available.

Call or text 281-938-8777 to discuss scheduling, visit format, and practical arrival questions. Bring a medication and supplement list, prior treatment details when available, and a few examples of what you hope could change. You do not have to prepare a perfect narrative. Starting with the hardest part of a typical day can provide a useful opening for a thoughtful, individualized assessment.
