Transparent fees. Unhurried time. No surprise bills.

As a cash-pay practice, appointments are built around what you need rather than what an insurance code allows. You know the cost before you book, and a superbill helps you pursue out-of-network reimbursement.

  • Prices posted up front
  • Superbills for out-of-network claims
  • HSA/FSA cards commonly accepted

Fees & insurance questions

A 75-minute initial evaluation is $315. A 25-minute follow-up for a medication check and tune-up is $150. A 50-minute follow-up integrating psychotherapy, medication management, and lifestyle coaching is $250. Confirm which visit fits your needs and ask about any separate costs for labs, prescriptions, or other services.

Every Thought Psychiatry uses a direct-care model with stated visit fees rather than in-network billing. This model supports the practice’s appointment formats and integrated approach without making insurance coverage a prerequisite for the visit. Cash-pay care is not necessarily less expensive than in-network treatment. Compare your budget and benefits before deciding what is sustainable.

A superbill itemizes services with relevant clinician identifiers, dates, charges, and clinical billing codes. You submit it using your insurer’s out-of-network claim process. Ask your plan about eligible clinician types, deductibles, allowed amounts, authorization, and filing deadlines. Reimbursement is determined by the insurer and is never guaranteed.

Psychiatric medical care is generally an eligible expense when account requirements are met. Confirm eligibility and documentation requirements with your plan administrator, especially for supplements or services that may be categorized differently. Keep itemized receipts and proof of payment. Do not obtain duplicate reimbursement for the same portion of an expense from insurance and an FSA or HSA.

Please ask the office for the current cancellation policy. Clarify the required notice, how to cancel or reschedule, and whether any charge applies before booking. Do not assume that insurance or an FSA/HSA will cover a missed-appointment charge. If circumstances change, contact the office promptly rather than waiting until the appointment time.
